Our friend Bill Fullilove baptized Kayla on Mothers' Day - May 14th.
Her face was all scratched up from her fingernails, she pooped on her dress minutes before the baptism (don't tell Bill!), and she was exhausted so these aren't the greatest pictures but hey it was a miracle we all made it through this crazy weekend of a 50th anniversary party for Martin's parents and a baptism and baptism party at our house, all of which we planned in our sleep-deprived state of having a newborn. This next picture is so appropriate then. We did it!
